idea of Design

As my background idea is based on this picture as well....

I have try to come out something like that but a bit different from this picture...
So I didn't use the one colour background, I use the greeting word which I have cut from this picture as my
background.....

As I know, Christmas mascot is Santa, Christmas tree, Snow man, Christmas Gift, Christmas Bell....
So my design will put in all this kind of thing....
To make other more easier to distinguish....

AssiGnMenT 2

XmAs CaRd

1.File->New->Set as A4 size->Save as Christmas1
2.crop the greetings from the card to make it as the background pattern
 
3. Paint bucket tool-> Fill with pattern-> choose the pattern that i have make as my background
4. Brush tool->star 70pixel->change the master diameter-> paint on the background
-it become like this...

5. Custom shape tool-> choose the star shape, snowflake shape 1,2&3 to paint on the background
-it become like this

6.Place the picture of Santa, gift box, rod, snowman...
7.Layer style->blending options->play around the effect for each of the picture
8.Filter-> Filter gallery-> add filter for each of the picture
-for Santa-> add poster edges filter
-for rod-> add sprayed strokes filter
-for gift box-> add spatter filter
-for snowman-> add dark strokes filter
-it become like this


9. Illustrator CS4-> ellipse tools-> type on path tool-> type the word ''Merry Christmas''

10.Place the "Merry Christmas"
11. Layer Style->blending options-> play around the effect
-finally it become like this

12. File-> New->Set as A4 size->Save as Christmas2
13.Gradient tool->radial gradient-> paint the background as you like
14.Image->Adjustment->Curves->adjust the curve
15. Brush tool->star 70pixel->change the master diameter-> paint on the background
- it become like that

16.Place the picture of bell, Christmas tree, small Christmas tree
17. Layer style->blending options->play around the effect for each of the picture
18.Filter-> Filter gallery->add filter for each of the picture
-for bell->add sprayed strokes filter
-for big Christmas tree->add Ocean Ripple filter
-for small Christmas tree->add Under painting filter
-it become like this

 19.Illustrator CS4->Star tools->type on path tool->type the greeting word


20.Place the greeting word
21.Layer Style->blending options->play around the effect
-finally it become like this


22. File->New->set width at 297mm,and height at 210mm
23.Place the Christmas1 and Christmas2
24. Image->Adjustment->Curves->adjust the curve
Finally done...

My 1sT work for e-wallpaper  

                                 
 After receive some comment from my lecture
It become like that..




step
1.fill the background color by using
     -paint bucket tool
2.add some decoration to the background by using
                -custom shape tool>choose shape of puzzel
3.change each of the puzzel into different color
                and different effect by using
                -layer style>blending options
4.add some star by using
                -brush tool>choose star>adjust the diameter for
                                the primary brush&scale the duel brush
5.open picture name “page-coporate”
-crop the picture by using crop tool to crop out the people part
-do some retouching by using clone stamp tool
                to retouch the 2 people at the middle.
                -after done save as “wpaper”
6.place the “wpaper”, then set the blending mode
                -to multiply for the layer
7.add an posterize adjustment
                -set density to 70%
                -set feather to 2px
                -set posterize leverls to 28
8.place the mmu logo,then set the blending mode
                -to linear light and add the shadow effect and stroke effect
9.open illustrater>new>ellipse tool
                >use type on path tool to type “faculty of management” at outside of ellipse
                >save>place>layer style>blending opstion
10.test “open day” are the same step with step 9 but it type inside the ellipse
11.open illustrater>new>star tool
                >use vertical type on path tool to type “2010”at out side of the star
                >save>place>layer style>blending opstion

pHoTo RetOucHinG...

pRoCesS oF rEtoUchInG




step1=>  Starter.
-Go to file>open the image.





step2=> Duplicate layer Ctrl + Alt + J
-This to allow us to see the different between before and after.


step3=> Patch Tool J
-Select the Patch Tool and start to draw the area that you want to remove. 
-Click and Hold it and search the other proper area to make the unwanted element disappear. -Then release it.


step4=> Clone Stamp Tool S
-Use Alt and Click on the area that you wish to be alike, release Alt, and start to paint the patched spot area. 
-You can control the opacity and brush size in order to make the cloning not so obvious. 
-This will increase the alikeness.



step5=>text
-Choose a spot that you wish to let the words visible and start to type the words. Before typing the words out, select the type of words, size and colour.
-type the word ''Hawaii" and "land of aloha"...



step6=> Insert image.
-go to file>place the picture.
-after that go to layer style set color overlay and gradient overlay.
-next adjust the optical to 95% and fill optical to 98%

Process....

























Process of making my face using Photoshop.

Step1: Open the picture that I have downloaded to be the shape of face,

Step2: go to file>place choose a picture to be the eye,
Adjust the size and place it to be the eye,

Same step for the other side of the eye,

Step3: repeat the step1 and 2 to complete the face.

Finally, the face is complete,
Last is to write up the name and Id,

Step4: click on text tool to choose the type tool,
After select the type of the text, start key in the name and id,

Select the style of warp text….

Finally, done….
